These are the two important projects of the diocese that I will like to present to your audience for now.

1. THE NEED FOR A ROOM FOR SURGICAL OPERATIONS
In order to respond to the health needs of the people the diocese runs a number of health centers especially in the rural communities. Some of these need to be improved and upgraded so that they can serve the poor people much better by providing them with quality and cheaper medical care.

What we can do to help
With $ 12000.00 we can turn a room in one of our health centers in the rural area into an operating room for minor surgical operations. This will greatly make it easy for the poor and sick to receive good medical care nearer home rather than having to travel to the big centers which is sometimes very expensive and discourages some of them from seeking medical attention whenever they are sick.

2. THE NEED FOR CLEAN AND GOOD DRINKING WATER.

The Diocese generally falls within the Sudan Savannah ecology with an annual average rainfall which varies from a minimum of 645 mm to a maximum of 1,250mm with a mean of 1,044mm. Rainfall is limited to six months from April to October and can be very irregular. During this period there is often water shortage and access to safe drinking water becomes a huge problem for the people. This often makes people in the villages to fall sick because of the poor quality of the water that they drink from the wells or rivers.

What we can do to help.
 
With $ 7000.00 we are able to drill and mechanize one borehole for a village of community to have access to good drinking water.
